Part of Borgman Ford's Red Coat legacy is providing our customers with service beyond the sale. We want to ensure every customer purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Borgman Ford is able to do so with confidence. Unless sold AS-IS, all pre-owned vehicle sales at retail are under one of three warranties:
- Warranty Coverage is remaining under the original factory warranty.
- Vehicles that are Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) qualify for enhanced warranty coverage.
- Vehicles have a 3 month/4,000 mile limited warranty.

Factory Warranty - At the time of sale, there is factory warranty remaining and will expire when time and mileage expire based on the original in-service date.
Certified Pre Owned- Qualifying vehicles come with a 12month/12,000 mile limited comprehensive warranty covering more than 500 components plus a 7 year/100,000 powertrain warranty. For more information see Ford CPO or Mazda CPO pages.
Borgman Ford Limited Warranty - All previously titled vehicles with less than 150,000 miles at the time of sale and no remaining manufacturer's warranty are covered under Borgman Ford's 3 month/4,000 mile limited warranty where the dealer pays 100% of the labor and 100% of the parts, less a $100 deductible per visit for all covered systems during the warranty. Coverage* includes:
Engine - Cylinder block and Internal Lubricated Parts, seals and gaskets, the cylinder heads, manifold (Exhaust, Intake and bolts), factory installed turbocharger/ supercharger units, timing chain (gears or belt), flywheel, valve covers, oil pan, timing chain cover, oil pump, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing. Carburetion and fuel injection components are not covered.
Transmission - Transmission case and all internal parts including torque converter and transfer case (all internal parts), seals and gaskets.
Front Wheel Drive -Final drive housing and Rear Axle Housing for AWS (including all Internal parts), universal and constant velocity joints, axle shafts, locking rings, (four wheel drive vehicles), seals and gaskets, and automatic front locking hubs (four wheel drive).
Rear Wheel Drive - Drive axle housings and Front Axle Housing for 4X4 (including all Internal parts), universal and constant velocity joints, axle shafts, seals and gaskets, and driveshafts.
*Exclusions: Vehicles that are certified under any manufacturer program (CPO), certain exotic vehicles such as Maserati, Porsche, Ford GT, etc., vehicles used as police, taxi, or other government vehicles, commercial vehicles titled in a company name and used for commercial purposes such as snowplowing, vehicles over 15 years old or with more than 150,000 miles on the odometer, or vehicles sold under an AS-IS Buyer's order. (Vehicles that do not meet our limited warranty guidelines may occasionally be offered for sale under an AS-IS Buyers order.)
