Certification of all eligible Ford vehicles requires a thorough inspection as well as a mechanical and appearance reconditioning process.  Vehicles qualifying for the Certified Pre-Owned program are subject to a 169 point inspection that includes appearance and mechanical items like brakes, tires, accessorie operation, and more.  Vehicles that pass inspection are guaranteed to have brake linings and tire tread depth at least 50% or better than when new.  All parts used to make repairs needed as a result of the 169 point inspection are either Genuine Ford, Motorcraft, or Ford Authorized Remanufactured parts.  In addition all Certified Pre-Owned vehicles receive a motorcraft oil and filter change and installation of new Motorcraft wihdshield wiper blades.  All Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are delivered with an owners guide, two keys and remotes (if applicible), and a full tank of fuel and qualify for additional warranty.
